3. The first month's rent is prorated based on the day you sign up. Your rental will automatically renew on the 1st of each month until you decide to move out. 

4. A welcome email is sent immediately after renting which includes your access code, building map, and other necessary info so you can move in today.

Staff is typically on site Tuesday and Thursday from 10am - 2pm and Saturday from 10am - 12pm
Our team lives close by so we stop by frequently outside of these hours to do inspections.

THE DEFINITION OF STORAGE NEAR ME IN SOUTHBURY

If you turn onto Poverty Road from Main Street in Southbury you'll find Southbury Self Storage conveniently located on your right just before the public library. Once you have your unit, feel free to pull around back where you can drive your vehicle into the building for easy unloading out of the elements. 

AVAILABLE STORAGE UNIT SIZES

Our storage facility has plenty of units ranging in size from a 3x4 locker to 10x20 with roll up doors and everything in between. These units also come with convenient amenities like indoor access and easy swing or roll up doors. Some of our units are located on the second floor. These units are clearly marked up above when available. 

CLIMATE-CONTROLLED STORAGE

Need to store temperature-sensitive items? Climate control can help protect your belongings from extreme temperature changes. Our facility never goes below 50 degrees in the winter and rarely above 80 degrees in the summer. Most importantly, we have state of the art dehumidification which keeps the humidity level at 55% or below to make sure mold cannot grow. 

EXCEPTIONAL SECURITY FEATURES

We take security seriously. That's why our Southbury facility is fully encapsulated. The only way to get into the building is with an access code so no outsiders can get in. The building has full burglar and fire alarms and has video surveillance. Our staff is on site regularly to check for anything out of place. 

PEST CONTROL AND CLEANING

We take pride in maintaining a clean storage facility in Southbury. To ensure our facility remains pest free, is treated on a regular schedule by our licensed pest control partner. Our on-site staff cleans every unit after someone moves out and we have a professional floor crew clean the floors on a regular basis. 

ON SITE RESTROOMS

We have restrooms available on site for customers to use. Accessible inside of Building 1. Once you are inside by heading towards the front of the building. You will see a sign on the wall. 

SHORT OR LONG TERM RENTALS

Southbury Self Storage at 82 Poverty Road offers both long term and short term rental options. Leases are month to month so customers can rent a storage unit for as long or as little as needed. Just give us notice and move out by the end of the month when you are ready. 

TENANT PROTECTION PLANS

We offer excellent tenant protection plans to cover your items in the event of an unforeseen loss in the event that you do not have coverage via a homeowners or renters insurance policy. Tenant protection plans are available when you rent your unit online for a low monthly fee. 

VEHICLE STORAGE 

We now have vehicle storage available in our new 10x20 drive up units.
